a) an investigation on a topic you are interested in
b) a comparison of (at least) two newspaper articles that talk about the same story
c) an analysis of a book you have read.
If you do not complete the logbook, you cannot do the exam.
The exam has two parts.
They are completed on TWO different days.
(i) a writing section
(ii) a speaking section.

In the writing section, there are two parts. You must answer both parts.
Part I
You will be asked two questions of either your news story or your book.
You must answer one of the questions.
Part 2
You will be asked two questions on a topic you have not prepared.
You must answer one of the questions.
(ii)
The speaking section is completed in pairs. You do not choose your partner.
